Women’s Services
VHH’s Beginnings Family Birth Center offers new moms and babies the best possible beginning in a very home-like setting. Our Board-certified obstetricians and experienced Labor and Delivery and Post-partum nurses bring many years of clinical expertise to our patients. In addition, our Family Education Program offers extensive educational programs and support to new parents. Classes range from Childbirth Preparation/Lamaze and Infant CPR to Breast Feeding Support Group and New Mothers’ Forum. For more information, click on Family Education Program.
The Surgical Services Department at VHH offers various surgical procedures in a clean and safe surgical environment. Our OB/GYN surgeons perform a number of advanced gynecological surgeries using state-of-the-art medical technology, including both laparoscopic and hysteroscopic surgical procedures.
VHH’s Medical Imaging Department offers comprehensive digital imaging and diagnosis for its patients. In 2008, VHH installed a new, state-of-the-art digital mammography machine in its Breast Healthcare Center, advancing the fight against breast cancer. The Senographe® Essential full-field digital mammography system from GE Healthcare produces digital images on a computer screen, which help our physicians make the most accurate diagnosis. This technology also makes possible for shorter exam times, faster results and fewer callbacks.
