ANNUAL FUND

Annual Fund gifts are used to meet the health care needs of the greater Foothill communities. Annual Fund gifts may finance capital expenditures and equipment and underwrite major renovations of hospital buildings as well as fund medical and general health care education and general medical and health programs and services provided by Verdugo Hills Hospital.

Annual Fund donors can designate their gifts toward particular programs and services or provide unrestricted gifts, which will be designated by the foundation’s board of directors to address the areas of greatest need.

Caduceus Club – This giving club is for physicians who donate a minimum gift of $1,000 annually to the Verdugo Hills Hospital Foundation. The physicians in this club then help decide where the dollars are most needed. Over the past several years, this group has supported the hospital in the purchase of five pulse oximeters, six fetal monitors, an OB surgical table, a portable bladder scanner, a glide scope for use in the emergency department, a transcutaneous bilirubin monitor, a jaundice meter for use by pediatrics, and much more.

Ways to Contribute to the Annual Fund:
Cash, Check, Credit Card Gift or Online Donation – The easiest, most direct way to support Verdugo Hills Hospital.

Securities – A gift of appreciated stock or other securities allows you to make a tax deduction for the full fair-market value without realizing capital gain.

Matching Gift – Your employer may match your donation to Verdugo Hills Hospital, thereby doubling or even tripling its impact.
