Responsible for the day-to-day operation and maintenance of the Laboratory Information System, including result reporting, system software maintenance and data management. Provide Laboratory data management services to the medical staff in accordance with accepted standards and practices. Direct, supervise and coordinate functions and activities for all Laboratory staff as it relates to the Laboratory Information System. Qualifications: • Bachelor of Science degree in medical technology or related science or equivalent experience. • Minimum of five (5) years of experience in the management of Laboratory Information Systems (LIS), preferably with MediTech systems. • Strong ability to manage teams of individuals with diverse backgrounds and education/training towards a common objective. • Successful history in managing all aspects of Laboratory Information System operation and maintenance.

Description: Directly responsible to the Vice President of Nursing/Patient Care Services for the administration of the Emergency, ICU and Critical Care/Telemetry Units. Works in conjunction with the Medical Director for ER/ICU/Critical Care for management of patient care. He/she must be proficient in Medical/Surgical, critical care and emergency procedures and skills. This nurse is responsible for the professional activities and total nursing care delivered within the department, as well as the management of personnel during the entire 24-hour period, seven (7) days a week. Qualifications: 1. Current California Registered Nurse License. 2. Bachelor’s degree, Master’s preferred. 3. One (1) year current experience as a Clinical Director of Emergency Department/Critical Care/ICU (two years preferred),or 4. Three (3) years current experience as a Charge Nurse in an Emergency/Critical Care/ICU Department. 5. CEN and CCRN preferred. 6. Current ACLS/BCLS and Neonatal certification. 7. AB-508 Training Required

The surgical staff nurse is responsible and accountable for the patient’s individual plan of care based on age, culture, religion, level of knowledge, and anatomical and physiological condition. The patient is assessed. A plan of care is developed, implemented, evaluated, and revised. Qualifications: 1. Current California registered nurse license 2. Minimum of one year current surgical experience 3. Current CPR certification 4. Current BCLS.
